Abigail Duopama-Obomanu, a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Cohort 2 student at the Nobel International Business School (NiBS) will be attending the 7th International Engaged Management Scholarship (EMS) Conference slated for September 7-10, 2017 in Tampa – Florida, USA. Organized by the Executive Doctorate in Business Administration Council (EDBAC), the prestigious EMS Conference offers a unique platform for doctoral students, alumni, academics and practitioners involved in practice-inspired evidence based research to share ideas on emerging trends in management research. The conference also empowers the sharing of knowledge produced in professional business doctoral programs (such as the DBA offered at NiBS) for scholarly practitioners.
At the conference, Abigail Duopma-Obomanu will be attending the doctoral consortium, research presentations and doctoral thesis writing workshops which form the core aspects of the program line up. She hopes that knowledge gained from attending the EMS 2017 Conference will translate into improving the output of her DBA thesis entitled: How organizational culture impacts financial performance of firms: A survey of the Nigerian banking industry. Also, the conference will give Abigail an opportunity to share and develop her research ideas with other colleagues from around the world and also build relationships.
