The Governing Board oversees the institution’s activities. It has overall responsibility for the University’s mission, strategic performance, resources and assets.It ensures accountability of the Executive functions. Members of the Board are drawn from a wide range of academic and non-academic backgrounds.
Dr. Mercy Gardiner O. Tenkorang is a seasoned Information Technology professional with over 25 years’ experience in developing, deploying, consulting and supporting business applications and enterprise systems. She is the co-Founder and C.E.O. of DevApps Limited; an Information Technology (IT) company which develops, sells, implements and supports a line of enterprise resource planning (ERP) application software for small, mid-size and large enterprises.
In addition to Devapps Limited, she is the co-founder of two other companies; “ICT Farm Limited” – an IT company focused on Infrastructure software and hardware, and “The Leaders’ Edge” – a people development company focused on leadership development.
With a passion for delivering successful IT business solutions across Africa, and a drive for results, Mercy after completing her studies at KNUST started her carrier in 1993 as an IT Consultant with Deloitte & Touche Consulting West Africa. After 3 years, she moved to Zimbabwe where she led companies like Burco Business Solutions Zimbabwe and Fintech International in establishing their Microsoft Practice, and in their sales/ marketing/ implementations of core banking and Microsoft Dynamics products across Southern Africa.
In 2006, Dr. Mercy Gardiner Tenkorang joined Microsoft as the Channel Manager for South East Africa; driving and managing the Small & Medium Sales and Partner business across Southern Africa, and for a period of nine (9) years held various leadership positions in Microsoft spanning across forty-nine (49) African countries. She led the Microsoft Dynamics Business for Sub-Saharan Africa, and under her guidance and leadership, the Microsoft Dynamics footprint grew in the region with double-digit revenue growth. She was also instrumental in setting up the Microsoft entity in Ghana.
In addition to various IT and leadership certifications, Dr. Mercy Gardiner Tenkorang holds a Doctorate Degree in Business Administration from the SBS Swiss Business School, a partner of Nobel International Business School. She also holds a Master of Applied Business Research from SBS Swiss Business School, a Post Graduate Certificate in Contemporary Business Management from Nobel International Business School and an Executive Master of Business Administration Degree from, the China Europe International Business School.
Mercy is an Adjunct Professor of Management Information Systems at Nobel International Business School.
She is a certified John Maxwell Coach, Teacher, Trainer and Speaker; and provides mentoring and career coaching to job seekers and young professionals. As an entrepreneur with interest in Innovation and Growth in Small Firms, she believes in the fact that entrepreneurship is one of the levers for economic growth in Africa, and as such, encourages job seekers to look at the option of starting their own businesses.
Dr. Mercy Gardiner Tenkorang serves on the boards of a number of companies in Ghana and Nigeria and is actively engaged in various roles in her community. She is a teaching leader at Bible Study Fellowship; an international Christian interdenominational fellowship that helps people know God and equips them to effectively serve the Church throughout the world.
David was born on 19th December, 1972 and attended the prestigious Opoku Ware School as an Arts student for his secondary education up to the Ordinary level education and then to St. Augustine’s College in Cape Coast from for his Advanced Level education after which he entered Commonwealth Hall, University of Ghana where he graduated with honours in Political Science in 1997.
From 1999 – 2006, Mr Amoo-Osae Jnr. also did some career-oriented courses such a Diploma in Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations from Manifold Tutorial College in Accra; then a Post Graduate Certificate in Business Administration from Greenhill, GIMPA and finally, a Post Graduate Professional Diploma in Advertising and Marketing from the Institute of Commercial Management (ICM) from the United Kingdom.
In 2009, he became a member of the pioneering class of the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) in Africa for his Executive MBA. CEIBS EMBA is ranked No. 1 in China and Asia and 7th in the world according to Financial Times, UK in its 2012 Worldwide Business School rankings.
He did two Executive Master’s Certificates in Operations/Production Management in IESE Business School in Barcelona, Spain where IESE is ranked as the No. 1 Business School in Europe and another two Executive Master’s Certificates in Business Simulation and Strategy Innovations in CEIBS, Shanghai, China, which eventually led to his EMBA Degree in Entrepreneurship, Leadership, Business Innovations and a graduation in Shanghai, China and Accra, Ghana in 2010.
Mr Amoo-Osae is currently pursuing a PhD program in Doctor of Business Leadership (DBL) from the Swiss Business School (SBS) in Switzerland and Nobel International Business School (NiBS), Africa’s premier doctoral school.
In 2000, he joined Origin8 Saatchi & Saatchi, a No. 1 Marketing Communications Company in Ghana for several years running and a member of the Unicorn Group as an Accounts Executive and later on moved to Imprint Ltd, the below-the-line company of the Unicorn Group. David rose through the ranks and became the Production Coordinator, the Imprint Coordinator, the Business Development Manager and eventually Head of Division over a period of ten straight years.
Some of the multinational advertising accounts he worked on are Silver Star (Mercedes Benz), Fidelity Group, United Nations, Vodafone, Golden Tulip Hotels, Delta Airlines, Air Namibia, Intercontinental Bank, MTN, NTHC Ltd, FedEx, British Council, G.S.M.F, JICA STM, Guinness Ghana Ltd, just to mention a few.
In 2010, he resigned from the Unicorn Group after ten (10) years service and set up his Movie Theatre/Cinema Company called the Movie House Plaza with Branches in Dansoman, Kokomlemle, Achimota, Tema, Weija, Kumasi, Koforidua and Ho. Movie House Plaza is a provider of private movie rooms for individual or group viewing in a very serene and luxurious setting and targeted at the up market. It is currently the market leader in this industry in Ghana with well over 70% market share and highly motivated staff strength of about One Hundred and thirty-five (135) employees and vendors.
Mr. Amoo-Osae Jnr is very big on charity and philanthropic works; he has an educational fund that pays the school fees of ten needy students in the tertiary institution every year He has adopted the following houses and schools; Wrigley House in Wesley Girls – Cape Coast; St. Andrew House, Opoku Ware – Kumasi; Kelly House, St Augustine’s College, Cape Coast; Beatom Nursery, South Odorkor – Accra, where he provides them with water tanks, painting, tiles, bathroom accessories, ceiling fans, etc.
He also singlehandedly dug a complete borehole set up with several water tanks for Opoku Ware School during their water crisis in 2010 near the football pitch
He recently He recently renovated a teacher’s flat in Archbishop Porter’s Girl’ in Takoradi, that has been lying unused for well over five years as well as a massive beautification project of the two washing bays for the students with tiled pavements, slabs, sitting areas, etc.
He has also on countless occasions paid medical bills of the needy with the most recent one being the total surgery cost and other expenses of a hole-in-heart girl, as advertised by TV3 network in Accra.
He also recently completed and handed over his new Fifty Thousand US Dollar ($50,000) charity project of renovating the entire fourth floor of the Maternity block, Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, a floor he has adopted for the next five years and made it the new standard for any ward or block in any hospital in this country.
He has also renovated the Dansoman Polyclinic Out Patients Department (OPD) and made it unquestionably the most beautiful OPD in Accra.
He has also renovated The Dansoman Police Station Charge Office/Cells (Dansoman – Accra) which recently won the best Police Station in Africa during the Community Police Stations award ceremony held last year in Nairobi, Kenya as well as The National MTTU Charge Office/Cells (Tudu – Accra), Nima Police Station and the Ridge Police Station Charge Office/Cells (Ridge – Kumasi) in collaboration with CEIBS’s WELA to international standards and a more humane environment for cell inmates and the Police to effectively dispense their duties to the levels required of them. He has also renovated the Tema Polyclinic Maternity Block and currently renovating the First Floor, Medical Block, Korle Bu Teaching Hospital at a cost of One Hundred Thousand Cedis (GHC 100,000) and hopes to hand over on 15th October, 2015.
He recently won the CEIBS Africa Alumnus of the year 2011 for his immense contributions to society and mankind making him the first recipient of this prestigious award on the African continent. David is the first ever-organizing secretary of CEIBS Alumni Africa Chapter and currently the first President of the CEIBS Alumni Ghana Chapter. During his period of as President, he launched the ‘The Titan’, first ever quarterly newsletter for Alumni as well as the GHALU-FUND that has raised over two hundred thousand cedis (GHC 200,000) over a period of one year.

Evans Anabah was called to the Bar In the year 2009 and Joined Kpatsa & Associates In 2010. Evans holds a Bachelors degree in Economics and an LLB from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, a Master of Applied Business Research from the Swiss Business School, Zurich, Switzerland, LLM in Oil and Gas Law from the Aberdeen business school of the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland. I have been in Private business for about 20 years and currently the Managing Director of Costal Food Processing Company, a manufacturing company that processes soybean into soya cake and soybean oil. Before, I was the proprietor of IKEG Enterprise which processed cocoa Cake into cocoa powder for instant chocolate beverages.
I served on two boards, ie Comet Group and Nightingale Nursing School at Adenta. After my university education, I worked with the Produce Buying Company (PBC), then a subsidiary of Cocobod, National Revenue (Internal Revenue Division) and the defunct Bank for Housing and Construction.
I attended Presby Secondary School at Begoro, Ghana Secondary School, Koforidua and then went on to the University of Ghana, Legon, Accra for my bachelor’s degree in Political Science. I also took various courses in Banking, Real Estate Financing and Project Management.

Kwaku Atuahene-Gima is Founder, President & Distinguished Professor of Innovation Management & Marketing at Nobel International Business School (NIBS) in Accra, Ghana. Prior to founding NIBS in 2014, he was Professor of Innovation Management & Marketing at the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) in Shanghai for nearly 10 years; during which time he was also the Founding Executive Director of CEIBS Africa Campus in Accra, Ghana for five years. He was the Department Chair of Marketing at CEIBS for 4 years and Founding Director of the Centre for Marketing & Innovation funded by Dow Chemical. He taught at the Queensland University of Technology, Australia and at the City University of Hong Kong, where he was Department Chair of Management for 4 years and served as the Founding Director of the Centre for Innovation Management and Organizational Change.

He is listed among the top 20 scholars worldwide with the most citations in the entrepreneurship literature. Kwaku is also ranked as number 1 scientist in Ghana by the European Union, based on number of Google citations. With his two co-authors, he won the Thomas Hustad Best Paper award in November 2015 for best research paper published in the Journal of Product Innovation Management, the world’s leading journal in innovation management. On July 23rd 2010, he received an award as the Best Professor in Marketing and Innovation Management at Asia’s Best Business Schools Awards by CMO in Singapore.
He has won multiple Best Paper awards at the American Marketing Association, including the prestigious Best Paper contribution to knowledge in innovation and technology for his paper published in the Journal of Marketing in October 2005. He was appointed a member of the International Expert Panel for the Russian Science Foundation (RSF) in November 2015; a position in which he evaluates and recommends for funding academic research proposals on innovation and entrepreneurship. He was twice an invited presenter by American Academy of Management on the topic ‘Publishing in Top Tier Academic Journals from Outside North America’ at it Professional Development Workshops (PDWs).

He won the Outstanding Reviewer Award of the Journal Marketing in 2007. He is on the Senior Advisory and Editorial Review Board of the Journal of Product Innovation Management, and the European Journal of Marketing and on the review panel of several other academic journals.
