Dr Samuel Senyo Okae is staff of the Bank of Ghana with the Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence department. Samuel is a Technically sophisticated and finance-savvy IT professional with over 25 years’ experience in the IT industry. With pioneering career reflecting strong leadership and organizational competence coupled with hands-on IS and management expertise with the ability to devise new or enhance existing systems.
Samuel has worked in many European countries including Germany and the United Kingdom. Currently, He is the Chief Information Security Officer at the Bank of Ghana. Prior to this, he was seconded to the Ghana Deposit Protection Corporation as Head of IT. He was also a senior Information Systems Auditor with the banking supervision department of the Central Bank.
Dr. Okae is a Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO), a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and is certified in both Sarbanes Oxley and Basel II as well as, Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI), Licensed Penetration Tester (LPT), EC Council Certified Security Analyst (ECSA), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and ISO 27001:2013 Lead Auditor certification.
