NiBS Honors Top Theses, Alumni Mentors and Class Valedictorian

NiBS University recognized several standout graduates and alumni contributors during its 2026 graduation ceremony.

Thesis awards went to:

Best Innovative Thesis — Dr. Tangombu Sampson Chiragia, for his study on performance-based versus fixed salary pay structures and employee productivity at the Ghana Revenue Authority.

Most Outstanding Thesis — Dr. Mawuse Agblobi, for research on the impact of dynamic strategic planning on firm performance.

Best Practical Thesis — Dr. Akwasi Serebour Boateng, for a study on marital leadership and business continuity in Ghana’s private education institutions.

President’s Excellence Award (awarded from the office of NiBS founder and President Professor Kwaku Atuahene-Gima, to Hon.  Dr.  Alhaji Sulemana Yusif.

Valedictorian, Master’s Class — Ethel Nyarkoa Donkor, of the Master of Fintech Management cohort, who in her address described designing “DRIP”, a Digital Regulatory Implementation Platform intended to streamline how fintech companies comply with Bank of Ghana regulations.
