Your most frequently asked questions

What documents are needed before i can begin my application?

Before you begin your application make sure you have:

  • Your qualification details including grades and dates taken. You will have the opportunity to upload scanned copies of your qualification certificates/transcripts in the application. 
  • A scanned copy of your passport or other official photographic ID e.g. photo driving license, Ghana Card, or passport. This will help us verify your application to study with us.
  • Your updated CV
  • A personal statement showing your interest for the course/subject. This is a mandatory requirement and you will be able to upload it into your application. You may want to include your reasons for applying for the course, your experience in the field, how you feel you would benefit from studying and relevant information about your previous studies. You could also tell us about your non-academic experiences such as hobbies, interests, and participation in any clubs, societies or voluntary work.

What are the entry requirements for Master's programs?
  • First degree in any discipline – Engineering, Science, Business, Medicine, etc. with 3 years of relevant work experience or
  •  Professional Qualifications (ICA, ACCA, CIM, CIMA, etc.) with 3 years of relevant work experience or
  • HND in any discipline with 5 years of work experience or
  • Entrepreneurs and senior executives with at least ten years of business experience (such applicants must not exceed 10% of a cohort).
  • International applicants may be admitted based on qualifications from their home country universities with equivalence determined by GTEC.
  • Evidence of English Language Proficiency required from students from Non-English speaking Countries.
What are the entry requirements for the PhD program?
  • Master or MPhil Degree in Management, Business, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Supply-Chain Management, Organizational Behaviour, Economics, Business Law, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Strategy, Project Management, Human Resource Management, Leadership, Management, Public Administration, and Information Systems management.
  • Applicants must attain a minimum GPA of 2.75 to be admitted.
  • Applicants with a professional accounting qualification, e.g., ICAG, ACCA, CIMA, etc., in addition to a non-research EMBA, a non-business-related MBA, MA, or MSc from an accredited university/college with a minimum 3.0 CGPA, will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
What are the entry requirements for the DBA / DBL program?
  • Master’s degree in Management, Business (e.g., MBA) with five years of management experience, or
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, and ICA, that demonstrates foundation knowledge of business and management; with five years of management experience, or
  • First degree in business and management with a minimum of 10 years of management and leadership experience, or
  • Master’s degree in non-business discipline – must complete and pass at credit level the foundation program.
  • International applicants may be admitted based on qualifications from their home country universities, for which equivalence shall be determined by the Ghana Tertiary Education Council (GTEC)
  • Applicants from non-English speaking countries need to provide evidence of English language proficiency.
