Africa is a fast-moving economy with increasingly complex dynamics, challenges and opportunities. To effectively navigate the challenges and obstacles and to harness the opportunities would require companies to nurture managerial talent with great creativity, communication skills, critical thinking and ability to develop, implement new ideas, and business models. In short, organizations will need ‘thinkers and doers’ with entrepreneurial spirit -foresight, insight, cross sight as well as good old hindsight. The NIBS MBA programs are designed to produce these types of executives. To accomplish this task, a unique aspect of the programs is the close relationship between NIBS and teaching companies in the design, delivery and assessment of the program modules. All our master programs are research-oriented. Each students has to complete a substantial thesis and produce a published article and conference paper before graduation.
With this approach, we are to help executives make a long-term investment having immediate yields to themselves and their em-ployers. Specifically, it helps participants to understand the practical value of applied research, understand and take advantage of the peculiarities in the African business environment with new skills, fresh perspectives and creative approaches to solving real-world organizational problems. We believe design and delivery of our programs help you to grow personally and professionally through participation in real-world research projects and team-based learning.
I hope to see you in one of our master programs soon!
