David’s experience cuts across almost 3 decades as a transactions lawyer with lead advisory roles in diverse projects including infrastructure, finance,, transportation, and public advisory sector advisory. He is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana, holds a Doctorate Degree in Business Administration, a Master’ in Public Administration, and a Master’sMaster’s in Applied Business Research. He is also a Fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Transport, UK and a Fellow of the Ghana Institute of Planners, Ghana. He is the founder and Senior Partner of AB & David Africa, an Africa-focused global business law firm with offices in Ghana, Zambia, Uganda, Zimbabwe, an affiliate in Kenya, and representative offices in Mauritius and Singapore. He has been described as “highly regarded” (IFLR 1000, 2024) and ranked #1 for Projects and Energy (Chambers Global, 2024).
He has in-depth knowledge of the socio-economic and political issues in Africa and His insights are often sought when a balanced analysis of issues that impact business is needed Development in Africa is needed.
