NiBS introduced a Monitoring, Advice, and Support Unit (MASU) to monitor the school’s internal operations and provide professional support to all doctoral students.

The Monitoring and Evaluation leg of the Unit
The unit is responsible for monitoring and evaluating all the systems regarding the Nobel International Business School operations. They provide reports about the efficiency and challenges in terms of Program Management, Quality Assurance and Accreditation, Charter Activities, Research and Publication, Partnership and Affiliation, Supervision and Learning, Supervisors meeting with students, Staff Development and Awards, Quality Assurance, Records and documentation of files, Engagement reports with SBS, GIMPA, and other affiliates, Library, Marketing, Staff Attendance, etc.

Advice and Support Leg of the Unit
MASU is a friendly place where you can talk with officers about developing your academic skills, improving your writing, and ensuring your piece meets the assignment and thesis submission standards. The services provided are as follows:

• The Unit supports all currently enrolled students through any stages of their writing process, from idea initiation to final revision and everything in between.
• We critically read your work and make sure we bring to the fore the issues (like referencing, formatting, organization of the documents, etc.) you must deal with before it’s submitted for review. We tell you how a reader reacts to your work and what a reader expects from your writing.
• Selection of the right materials for a research project: we provide information and get relevant articles related to the student’s topic of interest from numerous websites and other sources.
• Course-specific/Other Workshops: In collaboration with academic staff, MASU ran workshops on subject-specific or course-specific content. These workshops ran with a specific course or assessment task in mind – a good chance to develop students’ skills concerning particular courses.
