Dr. Charles Amoah-Wilson is an astute Human Resource Practitioner with experience spanning over two decades in Manufacturing, Media, Education and Banking in both private and public
sectors. He has been a member of the Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management Practitioners in Ghana since 1997 and mentors several HR Managers and Graduate students.

Dr. Amoah-Wilson holds degrees and diplomas from several prestigious institutions, including the University of Ghana, where he earned a BA in Management & Sociology in 1994 and an EMBA in HRM in 2004. Additionally, he obtained a Diploma in Telecom Management from the University of Colorado, Boulder, USA, in 2011, a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from Valley View University in 2014, and an MSc in Applied Business Research and a Doctor of Business Administration from NIBS/SBS Swiss Business School in 2017 and 2019, respectively. Furthermore, he completed a program in Cybersecurity Leadership at Duke University, Centre for Public Policy, Durham, USA, in 2023.

As Director of Human Resource at the National Communications Authority, Ghana, Charles has participated in and facilitated many local and international Conferences on Human Resource Management in the Telecommunications ecosystem. He believes that effective management
and development of people will enable Ghana to play an active role in the ongoing evolution of information and communications technology. On the national front, he advocates that practitioners should adopt the values ingrained in our national culture to ensure the organization’s
success and sustainability.

Within the Public Sector, he is regarded as a Human Resource Thought Leader collaborating with colleagues to shape the HRM landscape to facilitate managerial excellence. He has been
widely consulted on the development of Conditions of Service, Scheme of Service, Policy Manuals, Organizational Change, Executive Coaching, Job Analysis, Cultural Orientation of Expatriates,
among others.

Under his leadership, NCA was adjudged one of the top 5 HR Organizations at the 2023 HR Focus Awards held in Accra on September 2023.
