NiBS GRADUATION CONFERENCE AND ALUMNI INDUCTION CEREMONY

The NiBS Alumni Conference and Induction Ceremony, which took place today, was structured around the theme “Thriving Under Emerging Economic Opportunity: The Role of Artificial Intelligence.” Graduands were duly welcomed into the NiBS alumni community.

The ceremony commenced with empowering remarks from Dr. Bernardette Naa Hoffman, the secretary of the NiBS Alumni Association and the President of the BernHoffman Foundation. Dr. David Amoo-Osae Jnr.,the President of the NiBS Alumni and the CEO of Movie House Plaza, delivered an impassioned speech that established the tone for a day of reflection and inspiration.

NiBS Founder and President Prof. Kwaku Atuahene-Gima encouraged the new alumni to actively contribute to developing the NiBS alumni community and to positively impact the world with their knowledge.

In his keynote address, Douglas Ayitey, CEO of Makers Place, offered valuable insights into the transformative potential of AI in influencing the future of business. Dr. Boahemaa Ntim, CEO of Nutrihealth Food & Beverages Ltd, acted as a dynamic moderator for the event.

A panel of distinguished speakers, which includes:

. The Mastercard Foundation’s Head of Program Finance, Dr. Ibrahim Menkeh
. The Group Chief Marketing Manager at Databank , Dr. Gillian Hammah.
. Dr. Yaw Opare Asamoah, the Executive Chairman of Well-Being Natural Products Ltd.
. The CEO of Brand Management Academy, Dr. Abiodun E. Ajiborode

They shared their expertise and experiences, emphasizing the critical role of AI in navigating the evolving economic landscape.

The new NiBS alumni were left empowered and prepared to seize the opportunities that awaited them, as the Induction Ceremony was a resounding success. Graduation Dinner will be held tomorrow, June 28th, and the primary Doctoral Graduation ceremony will be held on Saturday, June 29th. The festivities will continue.
