Referral

 As a student or alumnus of NiBS, you are our greatest advocate.  Your referrals are a great source of qualified applicants because of your unique understanding of the type of student who would benefit from our programs and better fit our alumni network. You also understand what it takes to be successful in our programs and can articulate what makes NiBS unique. Prospective students want to hear most from you, someone who has gone through and benefited from the NiBS experience.  We truly value and are very grateful for referrals. There is no limit on the number of referrals you are allowed.

We truly value and are very grateful for referrals. There is no limit on the number of referrals you are allowed. As an expression of gratitude to you for referring a prospective student who enrolls at NiBS, we will offer gifts to you and the person you refer.

Each person you refer must be accepted, enrolled, and attend the program’s first class for the referral incentive to apply. You will receive the following rewards:

• Reward for Doctorate student referral:
  • For EACH successful student referral during the year, you earn GHC7,000.00.
• Reward for Master’s program referral
  • For EACH successful student referral, you earn GHC2,000.00.

In addition to the monetary incentives, you stand a chance to earn other rewards for your support based on the number of successful referrals in the academic year:

• At the 10th Anniversary Ball scheduled in December 2024.
• Permanent Recognition on the NiBS Notable Alumni Wall on Campus
• Earn naming rights on NIBS assets and scholarships
• NiBS research fellows support turning your thesis into a published article.

Nominate ten or more prospects to successfully enroll and attend the first class in a master’s program and receive one free place in any of our Master’s programs to offer to a qualified family member, colleague, or friend.

The persons you refer will receive the following incentives:

• Application fee waiver
• Doctorate program – Tuition fee scholarship of up to $5,000.00
• Master’s program – Tuition fee scholarship of up to GHC8,000.00
