Dr. Roxanne Zolin
Roxanne has held senior leadership positions in major companies in the USA and Australia. She was National Marketing Manager for Myers Stores, the world’s 15th largest Department Store chain at the time. She established and ran her own company building highly regarded business simulations to help nascent entrepreneurs learn business management.
Roxanne completed her doctorate in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Stanford University. She also holds a Masters in Sociology, Master of Business Marketing and Bachelor of Business.
Roxanne was a Professor at the Australian Institute of Business and Queensland University of Technology. She continues to develop curriculum, teach, research and publish in the fields of entrepreneurship and management.
Roxanne’s research focuses on entrepreneurial success of Women, Migrants, and Seniors.
Since 2008 Roxanne has been active teaching entrepreneurship in developing nations, such as the Congo, Mozambique, Papua New Guinea, and Kenya. She has also developed programs committed to addressing the inadvertent cycles of poverty and dependence caused by the financial remittances sent by expatriate Congolese to their families and communities in the Congo.
