William K. Darley, Emeritus Professor at the University of Toledo (U.S.A.), received his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of the District of Columbia (U.S.A.), MBA in Marketing from the University of Notre Dame (U.S.A.), and Ph.D. in Business Administration from Indiana University (U.S.A.). Prior to joining King Abdulaziz University in Saudi Arabia, he was a Visiting Professor of Marketing at American University of Beirut (Lebanon) and served as the Director of Business Studies and Associate Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Millersville University of Pennsylvania (U.S. A.).

Professor Darley was a tenured Full Professor of Marketing and a member of the Graduate Faculty for several years at The University of Toledo where he served as the Chair of the Department of Information Systems, Marketing, E-Commerce and Sales at the University of Toledo for a couple of years. At the University of Toledo, he also served on the Ph.D. and the Graduate Studies Committees of the College of Business Administration and helped develop academic policies and curricula for the College’s graduate programs. Additionally, Professor Darley has several years of administrative experience involving supervising large staffs and managing significant budgets, and curricula development, as well as program development at the undergraduate and post-graduate levels.

Professor Darley’s scholarly work has appeared in Journal of Marketing, Journal of Consumer Research, Marketing Science, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Advertising, Psychology & Marketing, International Marketing Review, Journal of Consumer Affairs, Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing, Journal of African Business, Journal of Global Information Technology Management, Information Technology for Development , and elsewhere.
