Dr. Mrs. Amponsah is an experienced and highly energetic lady who is able to drive profitability through strategic growth, waste elimination, quality enhancement and has a track record of successfully directing the execution of tactical and strategic operating plans of businesses.

She has over twenty-five (25) years’ cumulative experience in Health Insurance, Private Public Partnership, Environmental Sanitation and Lecturing.
She holds a Master of Science Degree in Environmental Science from the Kwame Nkrumah University Science & Technology, Kumasi, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological Science and a Diploma in Education both from the University of Cape Coast. She holds Doctorate Degree in Business Leadership (DBL) from Noble International Business School. She has been conferred with Doctor of Advance Studies (D.A.S. Honorary Degree) in Management from the Azteca University, Mexico.

Dr. Mrs. Amponsah was instrumental in the setting of Cosmopolitan Health Insurance (CHI) in 2014, and is currently the Chief Executive Officer. She has deservedly been conferred with over 20 awards including; CEO of the year, Private Health Insurance category at the 2020 Ghana Insurance awards, Leadership Excellence and Best Product Innovation, Private Health Insurance category at the 2022 and 2019 editions and Outstanding Leadership at the Ghana Business awards, 2019 and in 2018 was conferred with International Star for Leadership award.
