 Program Overview

The Program aims to develop participants’ knowledge of the essential elements and techniques of leadership, as well as knowledge, skills, and practice of the management and development of people in the workplace. The Program will reinforce the professional and transferable skills in interpersonal communication and teamwork, as well as understanding and using various tools and techniques to support strategic decision-making and effective leadership. Participants can lead teams effectively, drive organizational change, and achieve strategic goals by emphasizing more personal and creative approaches to management.

 
Program Objectives

 

Upon completing this Program, participants should be able to:

  • Examine and explain the leader’s role, career path, values, decision-making, and style from various disciplinary perspectives.
  • Identify and explain the connection between leadership and phenomena such as organizational performance, change management, innovation, corruption, attitudes towards power, negotiating outcomes, and accountability.
  • Assess strategies for building effective relationships with followers.
  • Use the principles for leading and developing people on equality, diversity, and inclusion principles.

Required Modules –
3 credits for each course – Total Credits = 40
