Dr. Eric Delle

Work and Organizational Psychology

Eric Delle is a Work and Organizational Psychologist with over 10 years of research and consultancy experience. Eric pursued his Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology at the Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia; and Undergraduate (BA Psychology Major) and Master of Philosophy (Industrial and Organizational Psychology) degrees at the University of Ghana, Legon, respectively. Currently, Eric is a lecturer at the Department of Psychology of the University of Ghana, Legon. He has over 10 years of university teaching and has taught several courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He is a member of the Australian Psychological Society; and an ad hoc reviewer for the Journal of Vocational Behavior and Employee Relations Journal.

Eric believes that ingrained in theories are ideas for societal and organizational transformation; and so, he has through workshops practicalized organizational psychology phenomena and theories. This, he has done and continues to do in the field of consultancy. Eric is an expert in the development of technical Human Resource protocols/tools, such as Performance Appraisal/Management tools; Scheme of Service; Job Descriptions and Specifications; and Tests Development and Validation. He has led teams to develop these HR protocols for reputable public and private sector organizations in Ghana. He has also facilitated several training programs, including training on emotional intelligence and team building; and leadership and performance management for multinational organizations in the manufacturing and banking sector of Ghana, respectively.

He has taught at several business schools in Ghana, including the University of Professional Studies, Accra Business School, Nobel International Business School, and Zenith University. Subjects taught in these schools included entrepreneurship, organizational behavior, strategic human resource management, international human resource management, research methods, strategic leadership, cross-cultural management, cross-cultural leadership, introduction to management, etc.
